Cookie Policy

•Moonstone Network
This Cookie Policy explains how Moonstone ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar client-side storage technologies to recognize you when you visit our websites and use our portal infrastructure.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Historically, cookies were the only way a server could remember a user across different web pages.
Modern web applications, including the Moonstone infrastructure and portal, often use newer browser APIs like Local Storage, Session Storage, and AsyncStorage instead of traditional cookies. Under global privacy laws (like the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive), these local storage technologies are treated exactly the same as cookies because they store information on your device.
2. How Moonstone uses client-side storage
At Moonstone, we build modern single-page applications. We do not use legacy cookies to power our core web applications. Instead, we use your browser's Local Storage for strictly necessary operations.
- Authentication & Sessions:When you log into the Moonstone Portal, we securely store your cryptographic session tokens in Local Storage. This ensures you do not have to log in again every time you refresh the page.
- UI Preferences:We may store basic interface preferences (such as dashboard layout configurations) locally on your device to ensure the portal loads smoothly.
Because these storage mechanisms are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (accessing your infrastructure portal), they cannot be disabled in our systems.
3. Third-Party Cookies: Brevo
While we do not use tracking cookies for our core application, we partner with Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage our transactional emails, newsletters, and marketing automation.
When you interact with our websites or emails, Brevo may place third-party cookies or utilize web beacons (pixels) on your device for the following purposes:
- Email Engagement: To track whether you have opened an email we sent you, or clicked on a link within that email.
- Marketing Automation: If you arrive at our website via a link in a Brevo email, Brevo may drop a cookie to link your website browsing behavior to your subscriber profile, allowing us to send more relevant communications.
For more specific information on how Brevo handles your data and privacy, please review the Brevo Privacy Policy.
4. How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies and local storage data.
If you choose to reject cookies or clear your Local Storage, you may still use our public website, but your access to the secure Moonstone Portal will be severed, as we will not be able to store your authentication tokens.
